ACP Principal Jamie Greene attended the International Conference of African Development and Culture (ICADC), held on November 15 through 18th in Accra, Ghana. ICADC is an annual platform for African and non-African leaders, academics, policy makers, Governments, NGO’s, cultural activists, artists, students—all people committed to the future of Africa— to share experiences, exchange ideas, make public research findings, build and strengthen partnerships, develop synergies, and tackle common problems.
Mr. Greene is working, in collaboration with educators from The Ohio State University as well as other private partners, to innovate a capacity building program for developing countries. He will once again lead an international planning studio at Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture during winter quarter that will engage students in addressing planning challenges in developing countries.

The mission of the Sustainable Growth Program at MORPC is to support the implementation of the Central Ohio Green Pact by developing the resources, tools, policy and expertise necessary for local governments to adopt sustainable land use and development policies.
She and three other urban planning students from NYU visited Abu Dhabi to research a bicycle loan/share program at a NYU satellite campus on Saadiyat Island that could one day inspire the city to embrace a wider network. [More]
